A lovely museum of Emanuel Vidovic where the artists material and spiritual legacy is gathered, studied, protected and presented. It is located in the classist house at the silver gate of Diocletian Palace. He is one of the most eminent Croatian artists. Very interesting place.

Excellent price for a nice museum - it was very big and it seemed that there were fewer pieces of art on display than advertised, but there was a good video on Vidovic and some nice artwork for viewing.

Walking around Diocletian palace is tiresome in summer season. Hot sun, too many tourists. Vidović gallery is a nice escape. It is even more. Vidović was good painter of sea motives, interiors of old houses, churches. His works are colorful and unaggressive. Problem of the...More

We stumbled upon this by accident as we wandered around the old city..it was cool and inviting and, given it's setting in a classicist house, looked as modern as any contemporary gallery. The price of admission was very reasonable, about 20kn for an adult with...More
