Rent a bike and go to the two beautiful beaches at the end of the park. The park is also amazing with masses of butterflies and beautiful flora. There are also some churches to check out and great scenic spots to get a view of...More

If you want some exercise via climbing many stairs, with the payoff of a great view, then go for it! We only climbed up until we reached the restaurant/bar, because it was getting dark, but the view was awesome, and we got in some good...More

Marjan is an amazing mountain to walk, hike or bike in Split. Upon the trek you experience beautiful ocean views of tucked away beaches and rock crop outs. Breathtaking forestry trails and the challenging 500 step stairs. A wonderful, healthy experience

I recommend going all the way up to the top (second viewpoint, with the flag and cross), walking down towards the furthest point away from the city (as you will pass some old churches), and then take bus 12 (I think it’s 11 kune per...More

Bautiful forest right next to the city with old little stone curches here and there. The view is well worth the climb and there are opportunities for swimming on either side. Very beautiful and would recommend this for a small hiking trip or a bike...More

Lovely place for a leisurely stroll away from the crowds. Above the cafe on the east side is a playground for children.

We hiked around the Marjan Hills and we saw a beautiful old church and the old town of Split from the top. Surround with pure nature away from the busy streets of the city is a great way for serenity.

Jumped onto the motorised train, from outside the Palace. Through the streets and up the hill, for 15 minutes at the top to take in fabulous views 360o around. Beautiful park away from the city !!

Personally I think you should walk up the hill. A bike is not suitable as it goes up and up and up. Look at Google under marjan. For best views and incredible sunset go all the way up......

There isn't a bus or train service to the top. You have to be prepared to climb many steps from the end of the Riva. Takes about 40-50 minutes.. totally worth it. Uber is an option though.
