Absolutely fascinating

The place is absolutely great - you can feel history at every corner. In summer it must extremely crowed in these narrow streets.

Looks so good during the night and the day. We were very happy to just sit and chill on the steps, lots of people did that.

I would say just look around this amazing city and the history of this city will amaze you. We were so surprised and happy to see the beautiful city with so much of intact history so we recommended this place to all our friends.

This is the major highlight of Split. The art stands tall and detailed. One needs to spend time among these ruins to Absorb the history.

They have reenactments and soldiers who take pictures for a small gratuity in the day time but you need to see it at night when it's all lit up.

The Diocletian’s Palace complex is obviously the most important sight in Split. As you walk through the whole area, pay special attention to the mix of old and new, and marvel at how the locals have managed to evolve and live within the Palace footprint in the many centuries since the Palace was constructed. We walked a lot around the old town and at every corner there was something new to see, Roman mosaics, statues, temples and even a group of traditional singers. Split is a place to enjoy and remember
