Really enjoyed the pace of our small boat cruise on the Tempera, a great mix of swim stops, optional activities and time in port. The chefs onboard absolutely outdid themselves, every meal was delicious and big.... but had to eat it all as so good. A great bunch of travel companions and a friendly and helpful crew made this an experience to remember, I would highly recommend to anyone. Icing on the cake was Dino our tour director, super helpful and clear with suggestions, itinerary etc and a genuine nice guy. Thanks so much to the Sail Croatia team

We booked a private charter on a 46ft catamaran (Hound Dog). Started and ended in Split. There were 4 couples plus a captain and a hostess. The trip was amazing! Boat was impecable and all the amenities you could possibly need. Our hostess Jo went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and prepared excellent meals that combined local flavors with preferred foods. Our captain, Mickey, created an itinerary that maximized the best weather and sailing conditions. The ports were interesting and we had wonderful dinners at the suggestion of our captain.
I absolutely recommend Sail Croatia and hope you get lucky to have Mickey and Jo as your crew!

Hi Salacata! Wow – thank you so much for your fantastic review! We’re absolutely thrilled that your experience on our Private Yacht Tour aboard Hound Dog, was the trip of a lifetime! It’s amazing to hear that Captain Mickey and Hostess Jo went above and beyond to ensure you had the best possible experience, from the perfect itinerary to those delicious, locally-inspired meals. We’re also happy to hear that the boat and its amenities exceeded your expectations and that you enjoyed exploring the stunning ports with the captain's great dining suggestions! Your excitement and recommendation mean the world to us, and we can’t wait to welcome you back aboard for another unforgettable adventure! Thank you!

This was my first sail and cycle cruise so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I have to say - it was fantastic. The meals were delicious, the cabin was spacious enough for two adults, the captain and crew were hardworking and kept us all safe and comfortable for the entire trip. The guides were absolutely the best - Joško and Anita were so good at communicating each ride, any changes, places of interest and keeping a group of 30+ riders safe every day. If you are looking for a seven day sail/ride (classic or e-bike) I would recommend you look at Sail Croatia first. Can’t thank the crew and guides enough for the excellent friendly and helpful service 👍😀

Our Sail Croatia hosts, Anita and Jay were amazing! The bike routes were beautiful and we loved the little surprises Anita and Jay had for us along the way. Also, the whole crew of the Priceza Diana did a fantastic job with hospitality, preparing and serving the delicious food and keeping us safe while on board. I would recommend the Sail Croatia bike trip to anyone and would also recommend the e-bikes unless you are a great cyclist since there are many hills. Everything was so beautiful!

Destinations were beautiful, and the crew and trip leader had great knowledge of the islands. The captain also managed to adjust the trip when weather was against us, meaning we docked in very protected areas. There were plenty of options for activities to participate in.
Croatia is a stunning place, and I highly recommend visiting on a Sail Croatia as it's the best way to see as much of it as possible. Plus, as a passenger, you don't have to worry about the navigation, which takes a cognitive load off as a traveller.

Just finishing a week bike and sail on the Afrodita. It was a super week- great company employees and crew worked hard to change up the itinerary to make the best of challenging weather to ensure we got in both our rides and beach time. Shout out to the wonderful Maria and amazing Tonka as well as Ivan, Lukas (loading and unloading the bikes!), the cook (sorry no name) and the tireless, always there, never sleeps Andrej! If you are looking for a trip, this is your pick.

We are fairly new to ‘cruising’ and wanted a smallish cruise, in calmish waters, where the weather was warmish, but plenty of places to cool off. The Split to Dubrovnik cruise ticked all the boxes!
We were blown away and generally very happy with everything to do with the cruise we selected. It started from the top, our tour director Nikos was immediately very likeable. His laid back but very precise manner had great immediate appeal. Everything was explained thoroughly in a light hearted manner, with just the right amount of history and fun facts about the particular town/island that was being discussed.
The food on board was superb - we are not fussy and polished off every morsel.
We may have lucky to have such a cool even headed bunch of other travellers with us. They were mostly couples, but 2 charming families with their older teenage/20s children. When we had ‘free time’ in a port, my wife and I would invariably meet up with some/all of our fellow mariners - and it was always a pleasant experience. As it was a small cruise - just 28 pax, I think it’s important to get along with everyone as you will invariably interact with all on board.
If you are wondering which cruise to take, I would recommend this one for value for money, very comfortable (not 5 star, but we didn’t really want that…) and all round appeal for an ‘adventure’ style cruise with like minded chilled fellow holiday makers.

I have been saying what a week since my daughter and I came back from our Elegance Dubrovnik to Split cruise onboard Olimp a few days ago and I feel I will be saying that for some time! To say it has been an incredible week is simply an understatement. Olimp is a stunning ship and our Lower Deck cabin was so much more than expected. It had its privacy and quietness, was beautifully appointed with plenty of natural light from the porthole. Each destination we visited brought a different hughlight that we enjoyed, from cycling in Mljet National Park to seeing the vineyards on Korcula by buggies to having swim stops in breathtaking bays. As we travelled in May, I prepared myself for all sorts of weather and as expected we had some itinerary changes that thanks to our very capable Captain Jure didn’t disappoint. We simply had sunshine all around, swam every day and enjoyed an alternative destination offered. Apart from the accommodation and destinations, really special mention goes to the people. We had lovely people onboard with some certainly becoming friends to stay in our lives. And than there is staff! Thank you to Damir who patiently chatted with my daughter about fishing, Petra who made sure we had ample of clean towels, Stella and Boris, rock stars behind the bar, Stipe and Josip performing miracles in the kitchen producing 5 star meals every day, our dashing and capable Captain Jure and our very own fantastic cruise manager Vedran who took such great care of us all with so much humor and lots of singing! Wow all the way!

We embarked on a memorable journey aboard the Salve di Mare with friends to celebrate our 40th birthdays, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Our lower deck cabin (#13) impressed us with its double sinks and spacious layout. The boat itself was in impeccable condition, providing ample space for all 40 guests to unwind comfortably.
Our Sail Croatia rep, Vičko, was exceptional—friendly, highly accommodating, and instrumental in helping us organize various excursions and dinner reservations. Bartender Marko also stood out, frequently engaging with our group and sharing valuable local insights at each stop.
The cruise proved to be the ideal size, fostering genuine connections among the 40 passengers. As a discerning eater, I initially had concerns about the 3-course lunches, but the meals were consistently delicious, and I always left satisfied even if I skipped a course.
I wholeheartedly recommend Sail Croatia and the Salve di Mare for an unforgettable cruising experience.

The organisation from the moment we booked was first class, all questions answered within 48 hrs max. Just prior to travelling you send a detailed pack of information that covered everything. On arrival at the boat again was erything was organised. Everyone was immediately welcoming. The welcome dinner broke the ice. From then on we had the the best holiday the crew were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. Marin and Ilona were very knowledgeable and entertaining. Any issues with bike etc they sorted quickly. The rides were spectacular. We were lucky to have a mix of people that allowed the group to move quite quickly. All the boat stops were gorgeous with great restaurant's. We had some weather issues but everyone on board worked hard to come up with alternatives to keep us cycling.
The boat was perfect it never felt crowded, the captain did everything he could to maintain the schedule despite the weather. The two chefs work miracles excellent food every day.

We are looking at Split return cruise in June. Can anyone recommend nice accommodation that would be close to departure point? Thank you in advance.

We stayed at Paradise Gardens, Split after our wonderful cruise with Sail Croatia. It was basic and small but had everything we needed. It wad clean and modern and was within walking distance of just about everything. The host was very helpful also.

How do you find the company to book with? Did they help with flights? Taking my grandson that is graduating this year and this looks like something we both would love. Thanks in advance for your help.

I found the company on the internet. They do not help with flights. Arrive a few days before and stay a few days after so you can look around the Split and Dubrovnik.

Wondering about the risk of being seasick in this area? I was awful in the Galapagos even with max patches, tablets and wrist bands.
Written 23 November 2024
We had one rough day on the water but the people that had issues with sea sickness brought patches and they seemed to work.
The crew works hard at trying to avoid rough waters but it’s not always possible.

Where do the ships depart out of in Split? The ACI Marina?
Written 5 September 2024
Usually on the Southern side if the port . If you stand anywhere along the promenade in front of the restaurants and look to tge left about 200 metres out , you can usually see them tied up together on the morning of departure. They are very easy to find . Sail Croatia staff are walking around on the dock usually with Sail Croatia shirts and name tags. They will take care if you and make sure that you boatd the right boat. They are very good

Hello! We will be finishing our Sail Croatia tour in Dubrovnik and can check into our AirBnB that afternoon. We'd like to walk the walls immediately after departing the tour but need a bag storage option. Our AirBnB can't accomodate us until 10:30 AM and we'd like something earlier so we can walk the walls before they get too crowded and hot. Any ideas? Does Sail Croatia offer any options? Thank you all!

Does Queen Jelena have a hair dryer? Is there the availability on board to “make change”?

Hi fellow sailors,
These may be the silliest of questions but trying to work out transfers from ports to hotels before & after. Doing Dubrovnik to Split next month on Esperanza but not sure which port leaving & arriving. Dubrovnik - Port Gruz - I think? Split?? Can you take other food/snacks on board?
Thanks in advance

Hello, What additional costs should one plan for a week's cruise off Croatia?
Written 16 May 2024
A local payment of 30 Euros per person is payable onboard as part of your Cruise bar bill and is paid in cash (Euros). This includes the BBQ dinner which is additional cost. You can request a sub-total at any time. Tipping the crew & Tour Manager is cash too. They will provide envelopes at the end. Any optional tour excursions either thru the ship or on your own.

Hello! We are doing a cycle cruise in early September 2024, Split to Dubrovnik. We are a group of 6. I am curious if I should make dinner reservations for each night as I believe we are on our own in each town and I think early September will be busy. Adivce? Thank you!
Written 19 February 2024
Sail Croatia was outstanding - as many of the others have stated - no reservations were required and we were able to be seated shortly after arriving. I hope you that you are able to spend a few extra days in Dubrovnik and Split.
