Cathedral has a lot of character with colourful walls, decorations, guilded artifacts. At Christmas time the sides have various nativity displays.

We went mainly to the ruins, and they were beautiful and photogenic. Plan on spending about 30 minutes. Just 8Q.

Had an amazing experience with a local city tour. We went inside and learned about this cathedral. Highly recommended.

a splendid facade towards the central square, but when you enter there is hardly any church. behind are the ruins of the old cathedral, now reduced to a small part without any particular value. All together more impressive from outside then from within.

I enjoyed seeing this cathedral both at night and during the day. After dark it is lit up beautifully and is very majestic. Inside is a little disappointing compared to the outside but it is worth a visit.

This is probably the most iconic symbol of Antigua Guatemala and it is just beautiful day and night.
