This is the most complete textile shop in Antigua. They have textiles from every department in the country. The prices are reasonable because they buy directly from the artisans in many cases. They also have a good collection of wooden and glass objects. It’s a...More

This store has an amazing inventory of old and new textiles. Old clothing is very wearable or can be recycled into your own creations. There are many other Guatemalan products but I was only seeking the textiles.

I have shopped at Nim Pot many times and highly recommend it. There is a huge selection of textiles but also masks, saints, and many other items that are excellent for gifts.

This like a Mayan pawn shop. Many Maya travel great distances to place their valuable items for sale in this large store. You can find great things such as traditional "danced" dance masks and traditional clothing for men and women. There is nothing like this...More

Good place to shop for textiles and other artisan craft items. The textiles are arranged by region. Decent prices. They accept credit cards. Prices are marked and it is not a place for haggling.

This was the best place to shopping in Antigua. With a little bit of everything with the right price. Don't loose you time going to the mercado artesania.

I make frequent visits to Antigua and always get the souvenirs I need here. The selection is huge and prices are competitive. Not a place to bargain, as prices are fixed. Credit cards accepted. Giving this a 4, as the gentleman assisting at the front...More

This is an amazing store that has a wide variety of Guatemalan art and textiles. It is a Coop with many items from various artists. The prices are reasonable and credit cards are accepted. By being by the arch, it is very easy to find.

If you want to buy Guatemalan folk art in Antigua, you can't do better than Nim Pot (which means "ceremonial huipil" in the local Mayan language). It is literally a warehouse of beautiful textiles, ceramics, and carved items as well as other other souvenir items....More
