This was one of the best tours we did! So hands on. We learned every step of chocolate making from the grinding of the Cacao to the drinking of the chocolate drink. We made chocolates, ground beans, learned history, drank chocolate tea.... So fantastic and informative. Our teacher, Patty, was excellent. Perfect English, passionate and fun. We all went home... Staff was very friendly, teacher/guide for the chocolate tour named Raul was very knowledgeable We got to sample several parts of the process of chocolate-making, and then make our own chocolate at the end of the tour/class to take home (allow extra time to return, as chocolate takes time to cool).

So I've been in Guatemala for 6 weeks and I've visited this place at least 12 times! The staff are so nice and helpful, even helping me with my Spanish studies. They recognise me because I've been so often and they know my order. Definitely recommend the chocolate milkshake and the fondue. They have some interesting information as well about... More

The Choco Museo is so much fun to visit. I have gone over and over with my family every time we visit Antigua and every time is different. Overall a very fun place to visit.

All of the reviews were positive and highly recommend the Beans to Bar class. I was still a little skeptical that a 2 hour class would truly entertain our... More

What a unique shop! They provide substantive information regarding the entire cacao industry and offer a very diverse array of cacao-based products you won't find anywhere else.

I took a group of American tourists on this "tour," which is really more of a workshop, and we all loved it. Our guide, Patti, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and engaging. The only downside was that because it was Sunday, we did not get to see the tempering process. You learn more than you ever wanted to know about chocolate and... More
