Madaket is our favorite beach on Nantucket. Madaket is less crowded than the other beaches and has killer sunsets. It is easy to take the bus or ride bikes from town. Madaket has only one restaurant, Millies, and one little shop, also part of Millies....More

We walked here to see Mr. Rogers's house and eat dinner at Millie's. The ocean waves were mesmerizing. Beautiful sunset. Probably my favorite beach on Nantucket.

My second year traveling to Nantucket for Wine Fest. If you haven't gone, GO! It is an amazing time, with beautiful beaches and five-star restaurants and WINE. Meeting wonderful people along the way is definitely one of the highlights.

Walked around the beach, saw birds and seals. Lots of fun. They had BIKE racks to lock you bike to. The beach was flat and easy to do. If you are handicap DO NOT do it.

We took the WAVE out here so we could see a different part of the island. We didn't walk far from the bus stop to the beach area. The waves are strong so I image it is a bit rough to go swimming. Very serene...More
