This would be a great spot for a picnic if there was water. Currently with a dry season and lack of rain the falls are really not running.

This is a beautiful place to go and decompress! My son and daughter in-law came home one day said mom, dad get dressed and follow us!!! We got to the falls (our first time), there's the kids the baby and the JP! Couldn't have asked for a better setting for a more beautiful surprise!

Stopping by Trap Falls, is very special. A special place to stop and unwind, and just listen to nature.

Seasonally, this Ashby site on Rt. 119 changes, so it's worth visiting each season. Parking is limited, and there is a short walk to get to the falls from the road. I believe during summer season the park service charges to park. There may be a trickle there, or a gush of water, but it's beautiful no matter when you... More

Unfortunately the day we go there wasn't much of any water fall. We went cause of seeing pictures on line and it looked like a nice picture spot. We got there and it was a nice area though our GPS took us everywhere before actually finding it. It was pretty but no real falls to see. Perhaps August is not... More

This area has a small falls, and up the road is a small swimming area at the pond, with good clean facilities. There are several pull-offs along route 119 to park and enjoy the trails, or soak your feet in the stream. Every stop is well cared for. Biking in the areas is good too. Contrary to the Trip Advisor... More

This place is great for a walk in the woods, a family picnic, and yes, even weddings! I know of at least two weddings in the last few years.

Been here 3 times. It is a nice place to take the kids. The walk to the bridge and falls is about 2 minutes from the parking area. It is quiet and peaceful ( at least the times I went). You can really get some good pictures with the kids on the bridge with their back to the falls. This... More

Labor Day Wknd 2014 stay away from willard state park on weekends the people who set up a "picnic" for the day block access to trails, beaches with tents, canopies, coolers, chair, move all picnic tables for their sole use, etc. essentially make areas inaccessible; don't get concept it's public not their own personal campground. block other cars in with...
