We enjoyed a brief visit to Emily Bay while on a half day tour. Lovely little spot that is quit unspoiled. peaceful water protected by a reef. Nice sandy beach. All within walking distance of the historic colonial buildings of Kingston. Very nice location.

Emily Bay is situated minutes away from the Convict Settlement ruins and the old salt mill stands on the right bank. To the left hand side on the edge of the golf course you will discover the oldest "primitive" lighthouse in Australia. The vicinity of...More

What a beautiful spot to swim and snorkel. The bay is protected by the reef, shark free! Lovely to linger in the sand or take the glass bottom boat to see the reef.

Emily is a safe beach, protected from sharks by a reef. The snorkelling is great, and the temperature of the water is consistent year round.

The weather was not very conducive to swimming but we walked around on the sand and enjoyed the views. It would be a lovely safe beach to swim in for families too.
