    Cyclorama Experience
This is well worth a visit and reasonably priced at $15.00 AUD per adult. I hadn't been to a cyclorama previously so this was a whole new experience and I really enjoyed it. The art gallery connected to it is well worth a look too.

Stunning painting but one-eyed view of history.
The work that has gone into presenting this massive mural is very impressive indeed. I was disappointed that the narrative only provided a quote from Christian Fletcher regarding Captain Bligh. In my view a more balanced view of the mutiny would have been preferable.

    Fletcher's Mutiny Cyclorama
A visit to Norfolk Island should include the Cyclorama at Hilli's Cafe and Guava Gallery. The details and depiction of the history of settlement at Norfolk after the mutiny on the Bounty is incredible and the 360 degree panoramic painting and props took 2 local artists 2 years to complete. Make sure you see it when you go. Hilli's cafe also provide a great Devonshire tea and the art & crafts at Gallery Guava is worth stopping for, if you want to obtain some local crafts and souvenir items. Sadly, you can't take photos in the Cyclorama, but the memories will stay with you.

It's a nice painting, very well painted, can't complain about the painting at all. There's also some information signage in front of sections telling you what's going on and the history relating to different scenes. But that's it, you get to see one (albeit a very good) painting for $15 in a small room. Inseparability is a big thing in any tourist or arts destination/exhibit and with it being quite crowded down there, the room could do with a staff member/volunteer reminding people who are crowding the information "excuse me sir/mam, would you mind taking a step back, other people need to read the signage too at the same time you are". If it wasn't so crowded you'd only spend a minute or two in here. Most art galleries these days encourage you to take photos to promote the artists, venue, your holiday, if you're not going to use them for commercial use, but you aren't allowed to take photos/videos at all here.

Before you go down to the deck of the ship (underground room where painting is) you're in a small art gallery shop where you can buy books on the painting, postcards, greeting cards, bookmarks and other very overpriced artwork related things. Sharing the building is a separate business Hilli Restaurant. Both share the one public toilet but it was clean.

Cyclorama is an easy five minute walk from the outskirts of Burnt Pine. Just turn off of Taylor's Road before you reach Seaview, onto Queen Elizabeth Avenue. There's even a footpath on the left side of that road all the way there. You pass Queen Victoria's Garden on route. If you reach the lane for Pitcairn Settlers Village, you've walked too far. It was in that library looking building on your left.

We were very lucky to go when it wasn't crowded and we could take our time to view this wonderful artwork of the history of Norfolk Island from the settin out of captain Bligh's ship the Bounty to the arrival of the descendants of the mutineers who resided on Pitcarn Island until Queen Victoria gave them Norfolk Island.
A must do when here.

Beautifully painted historic details of the mutiny on the Bounty up until the Pitcairn Islanders arrived. I have been to Norfolk Island twice and visited here both times.

The cyclorama painting, narrative and background sound covered the mutiny on the Bounty well. Maps of the routes of the mutineers and their victims after the mutiny and what happened later were interesting.
