This is the safer harbour on Norfolf Island very pretty & a lot of history. The views are to be believed.

This would be a great place to watch the unloading of ships and how everything is shipped in from the big boat by little boats.

Cascade pier is now the preferred site for the loading and unloading of the supply ships and probably cruise ships. When these are not around there is nothing of interest to see. However when a supply ship arrives the pier becomes the centre of activity...More

You need a tour guide to tell you the story of the pier and the apparently crazy decisions of the australian govt to upgrade it and all the problems that has created. The tour guides all seem to know the story.

A bit of a drive to visit but again it is worth while to see one of the Islands piers. There was work being undertaken when we visited.
