Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Absolutely beautiful spot to sit in the water and relax. Make sure you wear reef shoes if you have soft feet like me. Also leave your gear back up near your car as there some big random waves that come in and can wash your gear away.

Easy beach to get to with no walking required. Spectacular beach which locals advise is safe to swim at. However we were not too sure as it was a rough day with pretty big waves crashing in. Locals advise that the rock walls and the reef absorb most of the powder of the waves, and other tourists tell us they have safely swum there. As we were alone, we decided against it, but we certainly enjoyed the spectacular views

Lilly Beach is picturesque. The swimming is a little limited (at least when we were there - possibly low time) because of the rocks and coral. Nevertheless it is fabulous beach for a quick dip in the most beautiful surroundings.
Another advantage is that despite the Baby Crab migration, the road to the beach wasn't closed.

Went there in the morning with friends, the view was nice and you can have a picnic with friends/family there. Just beware of the water current and waves as it can be quite strong. There is a pavilion where you can take shelter when raining.

Facing the sea on your left, you can take the boardwalk around 10mins to ethel beach. Along the route you can see boobies resting on the grassy area by the cliff.

A very nice beach. Make sure you spend some time pinic there. You can also wait for the sunset to take some wonderful sunset photo.

This is a great beach! Make sure you wear sandals or water shoes since the rocks/sand are really sharp. The water is warm and the surf is calmer in the inlet. Great views and photo ops and it's even easier to get to than other places on the island. If my Lily white skin (see what I did there?!) could handle the hot sun, I could be here for hours. I'd recommend to pack 100 SPF; it's hot on the island and there's little reprieve at this beach.

I spent many times at Lily, the boardwalk across to Ethel is nice (baby bosuns, or were they boobies? The fluffy white ones!) and the lagoon-like water at Lily is lovely to lie in. Looks like something out of a James Bond movie! And the nearby secret waterhole near the boat ramp is beautiful.

A great beach for a cooling dip in the ocean and great for beginner snorkelling. A boardwalk off to the left leads through nesting areas for the Brown Booby to a lookout with stunning views of the coastline. One of our favourites on this trip.
