Christmas Island WetnDry Adventures is a small, eco friendly, scuba and snorkelling family business with more than 20 years experience in Christmas Island waters. We love to spoil our divers, which is why our boat takes maximum six divers. This allows us to ensure our service is personal and reduces our impact on the environment.

Hama helped us to find our accommodation, a local shop and restaurant the night we arrived on Christmas Island. We certainly didn't expect that sort of help.
Hama and Lynny make you feel at home on the well organized boat "Feral". They are a great team and nothing is too much trouble. Diving is relaxed.
The beautiful dive sites are varied and chosen well for the daily conditions. They alternate as dive master and both are great at pointing out interesting critters etc. Safety is also well considered.
Surface interval is morning tea time when you are served Lynny's legendary fresh muffins and hot drinks. Yum! Tanks are also changed at interesting sites where you can swim with GTs, silky sharks and see caves or a wreck.
Hama, Lynny and Lin offer more than just a diving service. We had six brilliant days of diving, laughing and enjoying ourselves. Hope to return next year.

As a group we have dived all over the world and this would have to be the best operation ever. Hama San is very professional and efficient, the boat is well suited for the diving undertaken and the diving itself is world class. The hard coral vistas took our breath away and the clarity of the water was astounding. I think we all fell a little bit for Lynnie, our dive master. She was amazing, with a great sense of humour and baking skills that make morning tea really something special!

We’ve dived all over the world and can say without hesitation that Hama and Linney provide a service that’s second to none. Professional, friendly and an intimate knowledge of the best spots and conditions for the day . We did 10 dives over 5 days and all were great. Gear is top class and they are careful about safety and looking after their customers. They are both long term CI residents and their passion for their island and its reefs is obvious. We would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to dive CI.

We loved diving with Wet n’ Dry Adventures.
The operators, Lynnie and Hama, were first class.
Hama knows all your names, whose gear is whose, and whose hats and sunnies are yours by the end of the first dive.
It's the little things that make the difference and we really appreciated it.
He will point out the smallest species and wait till everyone had a chance to see it.
Lynnie is an absolute legend and makes diving fun. She's so enthusiastic and is able to have a whole verbal conversation with you underwater!!!!

In October 2020 my wife and I spent 2 wonderful weeks on Christmas Island during which we had 12 very special dives with Wet n Dry
We dived with both Hama and Lin and were very impressed with the way they both went out of their way to point out the very best that all the dive sites had to offer from tiny shrimp and nudi's to sharks, turtles, manta and whale shark. The diving was very relaxed with every consideration for safety observed. The dive boat is comfortable and extremely well organised and the muffins, hot drinks and lollies between dives wonderful. Both Hama and Lin are a treasure trove of information on marine life, flora, fauna, cultural and historical aspects of Christmas Island and its surrounds. We both look forward to our next visit and will definitely be diving again with Wet n Dry.

We are a couple of experienced divers who did 5 days of diving with Hama and Linny in June 23. Our experience was first class. Hama and Linny are very skilled in reading the needs of their guests and tailoring a dive day that suits all levels of experience on the boat (not all dive operators have this ability). The diving was great of course, but the organization by Hama and Linny was what turned this from a good dive trip into a truly excellent dive holiday.

Hama and Lynny set a precedent for ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ diving that will be impossible to beat. Thorough, professional, knowledgeable, kind and fun. 8 dives, 8 different sites. Never felt safer in the water, but they also knew when to push us out of our comfort zone (hello, caves). Lots of laughs and great muffins too. Thank you Hama and Lynny, we had a blast.

We did 5 days diving last May with Hama and his lovely wife Lyn and his off sider Lynnie. We had such a fabulous time that we decided to come back this year. Hama and Lynnie didn’t disappoint. We had 4 fantastic dives. Between dives on the first day we snorkelled with a whale shark and on the second day we snorkelled with dolphins. Hama always goes above and beyond, we wanted to do a night dive and he supplied us with tanks flags and all the appropriate info we needed to do so safely. Whether your intro diving or snorkelling its worth the trip for Lynnie muffin. We would like to say a huge thanks to Hama and Lynnie for another wonderful dive holiday.

Perfect diving again! I dived with Hama and Lynney in September / October 2021 and it was so good I went back again. Second round of dives was as good, if not better than the previous one. In 5 days of diving we never did the same dive twice. This is a personalised dive experience where nothing is left to chance and attention to detail is unsurpassed. I couldn't recommend Hama's operation highly enough.

My partner Eva and I have dived in many locations with a variety of operators. Hama and Lynnie are by far the friendliest, safest and most professional and fun dive operators we have ever dived with.
One of the best parts is that the boat is relatively small so you are diving in a small group and with only one other operator in the island, you have the reefs pretty much to yourself.
Hama chooses dive sites based on conditions, interests and the experience of the various divers on the boat.
As for dive sites, these come in great variety and having been both a tourist and a resident, I have completed about over 100 dives on Christmas Island. Every site I have dived and every dive has offered something unique, interesting and exciting.
As an underwater videographer my biggest problem when I arrive home is editing the enormous amount of excellent footage I have been able to shoot due to the fantastic visibility, variety of sites, fish and the quality and variety corals, both soft and hard.
During the dive interval hot drinks and Lynnie's wonderful muffins, cakes and pastries are a highlight, along with snorkellng with the GT's ( I am not going to elaborate on this as its something that you have to experience for yourself)
Dives are in the morning leaving you time to explore the wonderful jungle, bird life and marvelous crabs or just simply relax in the afternoon or snorkel or do a shore dive in Flying Fish Cove, one of the best house reefs you will find any where in the world.
Yes, it is a relatively expensive destination compared to some places in Asia and the Pacific, but even having holidayed twice and having lived on the island for a year, we definitely plan to return.

In case you are still curious here is the answer to your question.
Since COVID 19 times, the only way to fly to Christmas Island is via Perth Western Australia. Virgin Australia fly here twice per week and can be booked online at the Virgin Australia website.
