About
Christmas Island WetnDry Adventures is a small, eco friendly, scuba and snorkelling family business with more than 20 years experience in Christmas Island waters. We love to spoil our divers, which is why our boat takes maximum six divers. This allows us to ensure our service is personal and reduces our impact on the environment.

Hama and Lynny are exceptional. Incredibly experienced, they both know the island inside and out. We had so much fun both below and above the water and Lynny's muffins are not to be missed. If youre looking to dive on Christmas Island these are the people to go with.

This was such an amazing adventure with Hama and Linnie. We had five days - double dives - and every one was an exciting adventure. Hama and Linnie looked after everything for us including all gear set up and change overs.
The team took us to amazing sites with drop offs into the clear blue, or swim throughs into awe inspiring caves.
The corals were plentiful - and the inbetween dives surface time rest on the boat Linnie provided the best cakes and muffins ever.
During rests we swam with dolphins or watched the local indigenous birds in a feeding frenzie dive bombing the fish below - it was like living in a David Attenborough documentary. We fell in love with Christmas Island on this trip. Just contact Hama and DO IT! Fran and Mary

Hama, the owner, came to our accommodation to meet/greet us and complete the formalities/experience/equipment/etc. sorted for our dive adventures in Christmas Island. Although we had a car, he arranged for Lynnie to pick us up on the first day. Everything was very well organised and he launches the boat and picks you up from the pier/jetty. The furthest dive site was about 20+? mins, but it depends on the weather/currents as to where he will dive. Hama gave excellent dive briefings and was a great guide knowing all the "secret" places some critters hide, we even saw several "rare" fish (he writes on his magic slate). The diving consisted of numerous hard coral reefs and several dive sites with beautiful "swim throughs". Surface interval consisted of hot drinks and Lynnie's most amazing baking; muffins/cakes/brownies which are absolutely to die for. In for another dive and back to the shore. Our Travel Agent, Sue Warner in Perth made our arrangements and it included a lunch box delivery which was excellent and prevented us from roaming around trying to find somewhere open. I would highly recommend Hama and Lynnie for diving in Christmas Island (or even a snorkel trip for a taste of those amazing muffins!)..

My partner Eva and I have dived in many locations with a variety of operators. Hama and Lynnie are by far the friendliest, safest and most professional and fun dive operators we have ever dived with.
One of the best parts is that the boat is relatively small so you are diving in a small group and with only one other operator in the island, you have the reefs pretty much to yourself.
Hama chooses dive sites based on conditions, interests and the experience of the various divers on the boat.
As for dive sites, these come in great variety and having been both a tourist and a resident, I have completed about over 100 dives on Christmas Island. Every site I have dived and every dive has offered something unique, interesting and exciting.
As an underwater videographer my biggest problem when I arrive home is editing the enormous amount of excellent footage I have been able to shoot due to the fantastic visibility, variety of sites, fish and the quality and variety corals, both soft and hard.
During the dive interval hot drinks and Lynnie's wonderful muffins, cakes and pastries are a highlight, along with snorkellng with the GT's ( I am not going to elaborate on this as its something that you have to experience for yourself)
Dives are in the morning leaving you time to explore the wonderful jungle, bird life and marvelous crabs or just simply relax in the afternoon or snorkel or do a shore dive in Flying Fish Cove, one of the best house reefs you will find any where in the world.
Yes, it is a relatively expensive destination compared to some places in Asia and the Pacific, but even having holidayed twice and having lived on the island for a year, we definitely plan to return.

Hama and Lynnie are the best! Spent the week with them diving around Christmas Island, and would absolutely do it again. Highly recommend to use Wet n Dry Adventures for your next diving holiday. Very experienced guides, excellent boat equipped for up to 6 divers, plus Lynnie will make you some amazing morning tea to really top off your diving experience. Had an absolute blast and can’t wait to come back again. Thank-you!

Loved Christmas Island. and all the crabs, red, blue, and huge Robber. Take a 7 day tour, to see much more!!
Deep sea snorkel, then swim with massive Trevally.
Duty free alcohol and cigarettes, the only problem the Police have is drink driving!
Walk into secluded beaches. Wander thru National Park forests, crammed with all the crabs, sometimes a sea of red.
Watch the enormous Robber crab tear thru all the outer layers of a coconut to get to the luscious inner flesh. Watch those pincers!
The booby birds are everywhere, red footed, brown footed, frigate birds (Pirates of the sky), rare Abbots booby and many more.
Our accommodation was excellent, and we were very well looked after, with all meals included. VQ3 does not have a pool, but the Sunset hotel over the rd does have a pool which we enjoyed.
Although we are Australians, travelling to Christmas Island, we had to go through all the International rigmarole, with those forms being filled in!!

You guys are absolute legends!! Hama and Lynnie provided a gold class service aboard The Feral, setting up our equipment, changing over cylinders, taking us to a range of stunning dive sites and surface interval locations as well as providing plenty of laughs in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. They had extensive knowledge about the marine life and ensured they took us to a wide range of dive locations to experience all that Christmas Island has to offer.
Wet ‘n’ Dry Adventures is by far the best company I’ve dived with and I cannot wait to come back and do it all again in the near future. Thanks Hama and Lynnie, for providing such epic dive experiences!

In case you are still curious here is the answer to your question.
Since COVID 19 times, the only way to fly to Christmas Island is via Perth Western Australia. Virgin Australia fly here twice per week and can be booked online at the Virgin Australia website.
Hi any dive schedule no 17-18 August 2019. Will be on Christmas Island and hoping to do sime diving.
