Great diving shame about the car rental situation

The team at extra were amazing, David,James and Toby looked after us during our diving trip v professionally( as you would expect) but as we didn't have a car( the island had run out of car rentals) David to it upon himself to give us several afternoon's of guided tours after the diving. A really brilliant experience as he was so knowledgeable about the island and it's flora and fauna

Thanks for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the diving and the Divers Villa accommodation. Our staff will always try our upmost to source you a vehicle for rental on the island, but at peak times these need to be reserved very early. In our own time, were happy to show you around our beautiful island, book you on a nature tour and take you to the jetty each day not to mention the odd supermarket trip.

Exceptional service, friendly and helpful

I had an amazing time staying at the accommodation and dive boat tours as well as exceptional business owner friendly and helpful and very fun. Thanks for my bday underwater surprise and loved the diving. Divemaster were also great supporting our group and hired cars to get around. I am wanting to come back next yr!

The Divers Villa is a real treat isn't it. As the only marine accredited business on the island- we love to hear everyones views.

Try Dive Experience

We did the try dive experience and it was fantastic! Went through all the safety regulations very thoroughly and we were made feel very comfortable throughout the whole time. Was great to see such beautiful corals and lots of fish even at a shallow depth.
James our instructor was fantastic and great service from the whole team!

Farewell Made Easy

The whole experience from start (Enquiring & booking) to end, was a breeze!

We booked an arvo snorkel tour for a farewell, and it was just the most beautiful day out on the water!

Loved every minute

Dave and the team took us diving on Christmas Island for a week. They were extremely helpful and friendly. We dived at Perpendicular Wall, Thundercliff Caves, Chicken Farm, and more. We saw Tuna, Barracuda, Nudibranchs, Turtles, Moray Eels, Ribbon Eels, and every kind of tropical fish. The boat was clean and well set up. The rental gear was new and extremely comfortable. The crew were professional and experienced. I completed my Deep Diver module and learned a lot. If you are going to Christmas Island, then I would strongly recommend Extra Divers.

David and team , Toby and James were great. The diving and snorkelling was brilliant. Felt safe and relaxed at all time. The diving and snorkelling is great for beginners to the most experienced. Every dive was diffetent

Must dive destination

A must dive destination! I just completed a group trip with Extra Divers and it was spectacular. Dave and the crew at extra divers thought of everything, met us at the airport and shared all their tips and recommendations for what to do when on the island. There is something for everyone underwater. Pristine reefs, drop offs, a wreck, caverns, turtles, reef sharks, ribbon eels, shrimp and more. The optional shore diving for after your boat dives is equally as beautiful. Food options can be a bit limited but contact Dave before you go and he’ll give you tips. We will be back.

Just returned from a week of Diving wit Extra Divers Christmas Island. Thanks for such a wonderful time. Each day of diving was fantastic. It’s a must to put on your bucket list for any enthusiastic diver.

Thanks Steve for your kind review! Christmas Island is a bucket list destination for sure- and many decide that they want to come again and again. Its only 3 1/2 hours from Perth and there are many more dive sites to do for your next 5 days on the island. We enjoyed your company, and look forward to seeing you again !

These guys are amazing! Can’t rate them high enough, the diving was just amazing, We spent 5 days diving, 2 dives an the boat each day then most afternoons there was a dive in Flying Fish Cove
