Pretty little area. The Palace is interesting, and you can grab a few good pictures in this area. Small area so it does not take a long time to also see other areas including this one.

Ideal place to have a break in the heat. Enjoy a cup of delicious coffee and the breeze from the Pacific.

Walking in the Old Town is a must. Seeing the old squares and churches reminds us of how young we are in America.

Cynical that a convent rebuilt by the Franciscan order in 1771 is eventually named after Bolivar whose followers forced the Franciscans out in 1821. After restoration in 2000 it is now used by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Panama.

Five restaurants have outdoor patios, they have strolling musicians, and no beggars or people trying to sell you stuff - just a wonderful way to while away an afternoon. My favorite place in Casco Viejo.
