Old Panama is an interesting site to visit. So much history of it's development and climbing this tower is a treat when reaching the top.

Quiet, easy place to visit. Nothing special but everything done well and nice staff to help you. Be sure to visit the local artisans and libraria at one end of the site.

Plenty of restaurants, churches and historic buildings. Some have been renovated others are ruins. There is still enough to see and get a feel for the colonial past. Several green refreshing plazas surrounded by beautiful buildings.

We enjoyed this visit to see how the original Spanish settlers lived. Life was not so easy there, and it was an interesting insight into early Spanish culture. The small museum is quite well done.
