I had actually paid for a full transit tour (Pacific to Atlantic). However, AFTER we boarded the ship, they told us that the Gatun Locks were too crowded, so we would only be able to do a partial transit. They did refund our money for...More

We bought our tour at the hotel from Gamboa Tours, although it was actually run by another tour company. We checked in at Flamenco Marina. People were coming there from many different hotels and tour companies and we all ended up together on the bus and boat rides.
A representative from Expedia showed up at the hotel a couple of days later and I think was also offering the same tour for a lower price, but we didn't know there was a choice when we bought ours.

No, the Centennial bridge is a modern highway bridge that many, many cars use daily. It was finished in 2004 and is the second major roadway across the canal. We saw it on a canal tour, so we sailed under it and I do not know if you can see the new locks from it. If you look at the pictures I added on my Panama Canal Partial Transit Tour review, there is a picture of the bridge.
