I went on this tour with Rafael in November 2021. Rafael was very kind and knowledgeable and really made the experience great! We were the first two on the trail and ended up having a good amount of time on top of the volcano just to ourselves. The volcano crater itself was magnificent and the surrounding views were very nice. Rafael pointed out the other valcanoes, lakes and sea in the distance. We then enjoyed a nice meal next to Lake Coatepeque and that was great too! I highly recommend this tour and for everyone to visit this country, El Salvador, as well! Beautiful nature and great people

Excellent tour with Rafael. Met me at the airport, dropped off bags at the hotel...and then a great tour. Got to see quite a bit in a few hours.

Since we started this adventure and experience of climbing the Santa Ana volcano with eco tour petate and our friendly guide Rafael we loved it! He was very punctual when picking us up, then he told us a lot about the history of El Salvador, he speaks English, we made some important stops to take some pictures of the volcanoes and the lake and we even met the minister of tourism of San Salvador haha ! After reaching the point to start climbing the volcano, we were given some indications (the usual ones) and then we went up at our own pace with our guide Rafael. We had the great opportunity and pleasure to enjoy every moment of the beautiful landscape that is observed. already when we reached the top, Rafael very kindly took extraordinary photos of us, and he showed us and explained everything we saw around us. Thank you very much for the message about the San Salvador that you transmit Rafael. You and all the people we talk to, their culture and landscapes make for me that this country is the gem of Central America. I hope to come back some day for all the rest the nice things I couldn’t see this time !

My wife and I scheduled a 12 hour layover at San Salvador while traveling back to the United States from Costa Rica. We wanted to see San Salvador and experience the food and culture of the country. We booked the tour online after reading some of the reviews. Rafael was our guide for the tour, which lasted approximately eight hours. He speaks both Spanish and English, so language was not an issue for us. We were not disappointed, and only wished we had more time in the beautiful country of El Salvador! Rafael took us to the volcano for an easy hike through the beautiful park. We also toured the historic areas of San Salvador, and the new developments in the city. We stopped at a local restaurant and enjoyed some of the traditional food which was delicious. The country was beautiful and the people were friendly and helpful. This included the immigration officials at the airport and the local law enforcement officers who guided us in and out of the airport. I highly recommend this tour and Rafael as a guide. My wife and I plan to return and spend more time in the country!

Great lay over your that I would recommend to anyone coming here esp family and friends. Eduardo felt like a friend I’ve known for a long time and had a great sense of humor. I felt safe and I learned so much! This man really knows his stuff. He went above and beyond for me and I definitely will take tours with him next time I’m in El Salvador again hopefully with friends this time! Thank you for showing me your country 🤗
