Very interesting to see where Archbishop Romero lived the last few years before his assassination. The nuns who manage the site are very knowledgeable about this terrible event in El Salvador's history.

Even if you are not a religiousperson, this place has something special. You can feel the spirit of Monseñor Romero and what this place mean to Salvadorean people and its history. Not visiting this place make meaningless your stay in El Salvador.

To see how this man of God lived and died and to be so close. It was truly a spiritual experience. A must for any tourist visiting El Salvador.

This is the place where Archbishop Romero was murdered. Its a very modern building and has an exceptional via crucis inside.

One of my favorite places in El Salvador. I love the chapel. Very beautiful in a simple way and the spirit of Archbishop Romero is still present. The museum in his living quarters is also very interesting. Again simple yet moving.

This hospital is located next door to the church where Oscar Romero was assassinated. He loved to visit the terminally ill patients. The Sisters were available to show us his Casita and were very kind.
