The place is worth to visit to get know history of Kiev. The restorations works are ongoing. Better to buy ticket which includes 3 places.

The frescos inside the cathedral cover every inch and many are as they were 1000 years ago - fascinating. Info board in English helped massively.

I don’t think so, we were told it would shut at 6 pm if I recall correctly.
