This was a nice little Cathedral. It's typical for Ukraine, but it is still beautiful none the less.

This is your typical run of the mill Orthodox church. I liked the exterior. But once you've seen one of this churches, you've seen them all.

This is one of many old churches in the Podil neighborhood. Architecturally interesting and notable for a very pleasant courtyard.

Orthodox Church was built in 1692, on the site of the first Christian church in Kievan Rus. (Pagans believed the chief god is the god of lightning) Temple is of the cross-dome, with one dome and bell tower, with baroque elements. The interior paintings are of the 19th century.
