Fairly typical war memorial, notable more for the sweeping views of the Dnipro River and much of Kiev. Worth a stop on the way to/from the Lavra

It is standing tall in defiance of those who have tried to crush freedom in the Ukraine. This reminds people of the hardships and atrocities the people of Ukraine have had to suffer

If you are coming to see Motherland monument and park (Rodina Mat) or visit caves of Lavra, drop into this park as well. There is a good viewing platform over Dnipr and part of Kyiv.

HUGE park with many monuments around, close to at least 2 museums/memorials, very well kept, and perfect for long walks admiring nature and a lovely sight of the city. Remember to bring lots of water if it's a warm day.

Eternal Glory Park is a very nice place where you can easily spend several hours. In the park you also find the Great War Museum and the Holodomor Monument, which are booth recommendable.
