Nice view over Kiev

It's a bit old and communism place. However it is original and it has very beautiful view on Kiev. Very close to Maidan,

The place has a great view over Kiev and it is located in a park thus heading there and relaxing with a beer and a friends on a sunny day is great! The place also have some activities, one of which is a zipline towards the other bank of the river. Its a nice place for a hangout on a... More

Although the place itself isn't exactly charming the view that you'll get from the spot on a sunny day is worth the visit. Easy to get to, at the time of my visit not many people around. Not much to do either, apart the view.

It is a little bit of a walk from Khreshchatyk street but worth it. few other things to see on the way to it, also when you will get there you will have nice small extreme experience - zipline that will get you to the near island.

Massive statue close to maidan where you can have a nice panorama of Kiev. Especially enjoyable during a sunny afternoon.

The arch is very symbolic and the statues in the vicinity add to the character. It is a short walk from Maidan Square with lovely views of Kiev and the Dnipro riverbank. There are some fairground attractions, stalls selling food and drinks and a zipline during certain times of the year. A relaxing place to check out.

The arch is visible from many angles. Sometimes it is peeking over trees, but once you are there the size is impressive. I enjoyed the park around it and also watching the zipline to the river below.

We saw it during a walking tour. It is huge, like everything Soviet, and it is also accompanied by some statues, which now have some pro-Ukrainian slogans written on them. There's a lot going on - rides for kids and for adults, a stage for spectacles,tourists... I've heard they want to take it down,so good I got to see it.
