A fine collection of gold well presented inside the Lavra complex -- worth a visit if you have time. If you are short for time, go for the miniatures exhibition and the caves.

This place mostly tells the tales of the people who lived in Ukrainian territory. Nice Jewelry, artifacts, clothes etc. Once you are finished, you have more rooms with great Christian art and Jewish art. I loved it, a true hidden gem in kiev.

Of the museums included in the Lavra ticket, this is the one to see first. Incredible display of gold artifacts createdby the nomadic Scythian tribes that roamed Ukraine during the first millennium AD
