I'm glad I went, but in terms of all the museums I've been to, this one wasn't much of a learning experience as 99% of everything is in Ukrainian - which is fine, of course, but then not very good for tourists, which they want....More

In front of the museum are placed big socialistic statues. They are as usual so funney by their proportion. The museum is well done and at the main hall is car which is drilled in Dombas. The museum is not too big so it won't...More

A very impressive collection of WW2 military hardware including several T-34 tanks. I was equally impressed with the Katyusha Rocket Launcher

For 100 UAH you get entry, audio guide and photo permission to visit one of the very best war museums in the world. It is somewhat old fashioned in its design, and little in the display cases is translated, but to gives you an idea...More

A brilliant, brilliant museum. Sadly mostly not in English but really well done. The entrance is converted into a current section dealing with the war with Russia - it’s a must visit location complete with some serious hardware

Most of them outside - technique. Smaller War Museum is inside. We were there for about 2-3 hours.

Yes I agree you need 2 to 3 hours, mainly because much of it is outside and spread around and the hill top park it is in and the views it gives are a large part of the visit
