Nice street with many shops and vendors. On the weekend it really picks up with the street closed. All different types of food and vendors.

When it is closed to traffic on a Sunday it is a special street packed with colours and good humour as the citizens of Kiev relax.

Historical place in Kiev. Closed on weekends for cars. Nice buildings and many cafes are here. It is really nice place to walk. Comparable to London, Mosvow. I would comparre it to Chans El Esse in Paris. :-) looks the same. You will never regret...More

It's definitely touristy but well worth seeing. I particularly enjoyed browsing the vendor booths and purchasing items from the locals. Always support those who rely on tourists to make a living!

It is a very lively avenue, with a lot of interesting places along it. Buildings, Independence Square, restaurants and coffee shops, shopping places, etc. Don't skip the underground passages and stores, but the souvenir stands are basically tourist traps. Full of people at all times....More

Lively and very broad street for walking with many cafes, activites, street shows in Kiev. Also it is closed for traffic on weekends so that pedestrians can walk on roads.

Old street in Kiev where a lot of local youth and tourists from different countries. You can find a pleasant companion. There are many shops and restaurants, which is convenient. True prices are not cheap everywhere. Recommend for walking.

Very nice to see lot of people walking around. Lot of restaurants, shops, good to hang around for couple of hours. Well connected by metro.
