Its the most beautiful part of Belgrade for me. Take a walk throw the streets of Dorcol, learn about history and admire the architecture.

Dorcol is historically on the edge of Belgrade - the place the next bunch of outsiders settle. It still feels like that kind of community. Lots to see, and eat and drink in.

After exploring main city centre amenities, I can highly recommend moving down from Knez Mihajlova into the streets of Dorcol. There are many old houses, lot of nice bars, restaurants, cafes and interesting shops. Many of bars and restaurants are open till late evening.

If Kneza Mihaila forms the central ridge of Belgrade, the slope to the east was the home to Turkish community; the area still has Ottoman overtones and the city centre's one remaining mosque.

This is centrally located, old part of the town. It has a nice waterfront stretched over two rivers, offering a lot of recreation facilities... Many charming restaurants, bars, ... can be found in the small streets of Dorcol ...
