Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was the first church I visited in Bucharest as it was nearly adjacent to my hotel, Europa Royale. It was just a two minute walk. As with so many churches this was built on the site of an original wooden church. This church served as a chapel for the Romanian Royal Court. It is also refereed to as St. Anthony and Annunciation Church. The interior is moderately ornate in true orthodox fashion. As with so many churches there is an architectural, historical and religious interest. Worth the few minutes it takes to view it.

This historical church is intriguing on the outside and beautiful on the inside. It is located in Old Town and is absolutely a must see for anyone visiting Bucharest for the first time. There is a plaque outside the building that provides some historical context for the church and it is very close to some excellent restaurants.

Seems this church draws the crowds. Maybe because of its intricate design or location in Old Town, close to everything. At the back of the church, there are many candles being burnt for prayers of visitors. For me I just love this building as it stands out as one of Bucharest many architectural beauties. It is a definite must-see

A beautiful but not out of common church, placed right next to Curtea Veche (The Royal Court), in the old part of the town. It looks nice after a recent rehabilitation. Across the street is Hanul lui Manuc.

Our walking tour took us by this church made of red and white brick. It is the oldest church in Bucharest and is located in the old town area. From the amount of people around it must be a very popular spot.

Very cute small church in the heart of Bucharest old town. Easy to reach, a subway station is nearby.

The church might be very busy at times and there are not only tourists but a lot of people worshiping so it could be intimidating to take photos inside.

Worth visiting.

A beautiful church, right in the historical center, Was built in 1554. I love the bricks walls and the peaceful air this church which survived untouched two World Wars and even the Communist era! Go and admire the old murals, even if you area not a Christian.
