Go visit if you like art and want a classic art experience. You won't see any international famous must see pieces.

A nicely laid out gallery with Italian, French, Flemish, Dutch and other masters in a beautiful building. Nice to be able to see the paintings close to, and in an almost empty gallery! The marble staircase on departure is very opulent and beautiful. A must...More

A most impressive museum. Contains a substantial collection of local artists whose paintings and sculptures are worth seeing. Highly recommended.

Fine collection of Romanian art, and quite an extensive European collection - all in a lovely building. Very reasonable entry charge
