Transylvania and Dracula's Castle Full Day Tour from Bucharest

No visit to Romania would be complete without ticking off Transylvania, where ancient castles are set against backdrops of dramatic rolling hills. See the best of the region without having to worry about car hire or navigation on a day trip from Bucharest, which offers a great introduction to local history for first-time visitors.

During my two visits to this square it was foggy and rainy . It was during December and not much fun at all. On this side there are big malls and stores but also seem like a traffic hub...very busy and messy with traffic. However I can see during the warmer months it will be beautiful in this area.

Unirii Square is vast and is situated at the bottom of the road leading to the Palace of the Parliament. Unfortunately the fountains were not in operation during our visit. Worth a visit though even so.

This is a large traffic intersection in the centre of Bucharest with some fountains in the middle. In the winter months it seems the fountains aren't operating (at least they didn't seem to be when I was there in November 2019 during the day).
