Currently being restored the lovely domes of this church drew me in. The church is quite nice inside and was a quick stop. Similar to other orthodox churches but I really liked the colours on the domes. Would be good to see the whole exterior-...More

This church is very beautiful, with lots of Russian elements inside and outside. Is very impressive the blue color from the paintings.

I was here in May 2018 and it is being renovated. I am not certain if you can enter the building, as I didn't try. What I saw of the gold domes, it looked beautiful!

The domes of this building are beautiful and I am sure that when the scaffolding has been removed it will be a truly amazing structure. Could not go inside as a service was underway

Of all the churches we visited we thought this one was beautiful. As the outside was covered in scaffolding we thought it was closed - but glad we tried the door as were were able to enter and view the beautiful interior.

This St. Nicholas Russian Church was built by Russian Ambassador in 1905-1909. Today it's stil under reconstruction (as of June 2017) and unfortunately we weren't able to see its beauty.

This church has been under renovations for a long time. Unfortunately, that did very little to its look and it's still rather dull and totally underwhelming.

Russian Orthodox Church after renovation. It's beautiful. Near where the revolution happened, it had some damage from rounds fired from both sides. The inside is especially gorgeous which says a lot as Orthodox churches normally are beautiful. A must see as it's also historic.

The inside of this small basilica is stunning. Really amazing decor and artefacts and a highlight of any visit to Bucharest. Sadly, as of May 2017, the entire outside structure is encased in scaffold and tarpaulin, so you won't be able to see anything of...More
