This is such a weird statue that it’s worth going to see. Naked man, floating dog, weird thing coming out of its head....it just doesn’t make any sense.

That statue was removed to be repaired..or whatever. But it's not there. From my point of view it didn't worth the visit anyway if you don't visit the history museum

This is the most beautiful and interesting statue I have ever seen. It is right on the edge of Bucharest old town, so make sure you stop by (when it is there) while around that area. When I first saw it, I couldn’t stop staring...More

Its not there! We spent some time trying to find this controversial statue only to discover it had been removed. Bearing in mind it has not been popular with Bucharest residents it remains to be seen if it will ever reappear or might end up...More

As of October 20, 2017, the statue has been removed for restoration for a "short time". My rating is based on a previous visit.

Strolling around at the Calea Victoriei I jumped in to this bizarre statue. The Statue of Trajan and the She-wolf is a statue by Vasile Gorduz located on the steps of the National Museum of Romanian History on Calea Victoriei in central Bucharest.

There's not that much to say about this attraction. It stands at the entrance of the History museum and provides a comic relief from this neglected part of town.

Walking around the Old Town, you are likely to encounter this statue on the steps of the National History Museum. It was fun to watch all the tourists trying to figure out what exactly they were looking at and taking pictures. Definitely worth a picture...More

There are many monuments around old town that you will find when you go out for a long walk. This is one of them.

We came to the museum and walked by the statue of Trajan and the She wolf. Had to research it as we didn't know he history. Interesting bit I wouldn't seek it out unless you were going to the museum
