This Orthodox church is a must-feel place to go. The church is very old. It is located downtown. Don’t miss it!

Magnifique petite église ! Nous l'avons visitée de nuit. Entrée gratuite. A voir ! Beautiful small church. We visited it at night time. Free entrance. Worth seeing!

Really takes you back in time. Kind of dark inside so adds to the mystery. The murals are really beautiful. And it has the smell of thousands of years of burned incense mingled with history. Because it is small it has a very intimate feel.

Delightful church in the old area of town with the most amazing murals inside and out. You can take photos provided you do not use a flash. There is also a tranquil garden a the side to sit and reflect.

The church and the monastery are inside the old city, hence it is very easy to go. There are beautiful and interesting paintins on the walls, and the architecture is on a lovely byzantine style.

This was one of the highlights of our first walk through the Old Town. The inside of the church is exquisite and the shady courtyard it just makes a quiet sanctuary from the hustle and bustle outside, even though it is only a few metres...More

The church and the monastery are surprisingly small. They were built in the early 18th century. Most of the decoration and paintings could be preserved through the centuries.

Hi, no there is not an entry fee. It is a monastery still functioning as a pilgrimage site, not a monument. No waiting time to enter. I don't know the time scedule, we 've been there around noon and it was open. I hope... More
