This beautiful Eastern Orthodox church was built in 1724 and named after metropolitan of Stavropole. Now a real landmark of Bucharest.

A small yet finely decorated church in the old town. Great example of Romanian architecture and religion. Come in and light a candle.

Take refuge in the charming courtyard, away from the hustle of the touristic old town area. First peek your head inside this tiny gem, and walk around the outside, noting the carvings around the doorway, and Turkish decorative influences.

It's a cute little monastery/church in the old centre of Bucharest. You can visit its courtyard for free. It doesn't stand out in any way particular.

It is a really great church that it used to be a monastery. It only takes like ten minutes to see it and if you go to a Divine Liturgy the experience would be great!
