Very interesting biodiversity museum, many exhibits from all over the world...

Situated in Victoriei Square, next to the Romanian Government building, Antipa Museum is probably the most interesting museum in Bucharest...free entrance for children...

The museum is somewhat small and yet very nice to visit with young kids. Some of the stuffed animals show a desperate need of repair but the the dioramas, specially the new ones, are exceptional!

Nice museum with numerous exhibits from all over the world. You need at least 3 hours to see the exhibits and read the info available about them.

I had a couple of hours to kill in sector 1 in Bucharest, so I decided to walk out to the natural history museum. Although much much smaller than the Natural History Museum in London, I actually found it more interesting. Don't get me wrong, there were not many dinosaurs where London beats it of course, but in the quality... More

This museum is very cool. It has a big collection of dioramas with stuffed animals from Romania and worldwide. It also has a collection of stuff from Romanian biologists Grigore Antipa and Emil Racovita. Until the 12th of June 2016, this museum hosts an exhibition with reptiles and tarantulas. I recommend to stay in this museum for one hour.

I visited this museum 35 years ago, when I found it well equipped and was especially impressed by the huge Dynotherium skeleton. I found it considerably improved now.
