Hilarious museum, funny items, amusing experience. The best way to understand the Romanian (sub)culture. Romanian kitsch is authentic as we are creative, ridiculous and proud in the same time. There is no good or bad taste. Beauty is in the eye of...more

It's a small place, decent amount of content, probably much more interesting for foreigners than it is for Romanians but still works as a good refresh of why things are the way they are.

A lovely small museum with a lot of exhibits that look like they came from my parents’ attic (ok, I mean my attic!). It’s worth the entrance fee just to dust-bump the dwarf.

The woman at the reception was really friendly and it turned out we were the only ones at the museum! The museum is absolutely jam packed with things to see and we even took some time out to play some retro games. There are different...More

You can't just walk in there and not have a flashback, as a Romanian. You got your Ceaușescu, your wall carpets, the glass fish on the black and white TV, all in one big room. Definitely check out the bathroom before you go.

What a great little gem! First of all the idea of a kitch museum....then it is really interesting to let people know about Rumenian culture in such an amusing way and the irony used is really really really appreciated!!! Not to loose in Bucarest or...More

More than half of this museum is centered on mocking Roma (commonly and derogatorily known as gypsies) people. Primarily for that reason, I would not recommend it. Additionally, the rest of the "museum" displays are uninteresting and lazy.More

Fun place to stop in for 20 minutes or so. Admission was around $6 which I thought was reasonable. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it but It’s worth a stop if you’re nearby.

I loved everything. I will definitely visit again. I like that it portrays all the typical romanian style.
