Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This buidling was so nice. Of course I dont go inside it because if its to much details that i forgot before I go out of building.

Collection of art is not my biggest interest but architecture and look of buildings are fasinaiting me a lot. Sorry for not perfect english hopefully you understand.

Located on King Tomislav Square and was finished in 1898.

Designet by hungarian Floris Korb and Kalman Kiergl.

It is the oldest collection of art in southern Europe.

I could hold my eyes from the building. Was here three times for taking photo.

Its size of 66 m2.

I took this photo while walking around the center of Zagreb. This art museum is located at the northern end of Tomislav Square, and its impressive Art Nouveau building with a yellow palace-like facade and a glass dome at the top center is truly impressive. It's worth seeing just for the sight of it standing in a well-maintained garden. Due to time constraints, I wasn't able to go inside the museum, but it displays artworks from overseas and Croatia, and apparently it also hosts large-scale art exhibitions.

The building looks amazing from outside. I really wonder how it looks inside but it is a shame that it is temporarily closed.

The Art Pavilion is a stunning baroque looking building sat prominently in a beautiful green area of Zagreb, near to the railway station. I didn't go inside but the outside was very impressive. Good photo opportunity.

When you go on a conducted tour, this is what happens. Since one is new to the city, you depend on the guide company about the itinerary.
This artistic building stands out on one side of the King Tomislav square and near Zagreb Central station. The building itself tempts you to enter. Some one in the group mentioned that this is one of the oldest galleries in Europe where good art exhibitions are held regularly.. I wish I had read about it. But there was no time and it was not in the programme.
When later on the guide took us to the Museum of Broken relationship and gave us time to go inside , I felt miserable in having missed one of the gems of Eastern Europe.

The Art Pavilion of Zagreb is based in a beautiful building in the city centre, surrounded by lovely gardens and right opposite the train station (which is another fabulous building).

This is a small gallery which consists on one long room. Despite having to pay to get in, once there, the details and architecture of the room will worth every kuna paid.

See the photos and judge yourself :)

Stumbled upon this exhibit after the Stollmeyer closed earlier than I expected. Really expensive (50K) for a tiny exhibit that can be seen in 30 mins. Though I’ve never seen the particular works of some famous artists before and that, I suppose, is the price of admission! Don’t bother if you have limited time in Zagreb.

Located south of Zrinjevac and north of the King Tomislav Square, this beautiful building is the oldest art gallery in this part of Europe. It was designed by Fellner and Helmer (they just finished the theatre building at the time) in 1898 and based on the iron skeleton construction which hosted the works of Croatian artists during the exhibition in Budapest which celebrated the thousand years of Hungarian statehood. It is a monumental architectural site with over 600 m2 of exhibition area which hosted over 700 different exhibitions in its history.
