You can easily walk up to Old Town, but at least once ride the shortest Funicular in Europe - it's fun and you can tell your kids someday. ;)

We got to ride the Zagreb Funicular as part of our walking tour of Zagreb, which we did with Petros agency. Its just a 55 seconds ride, but an experience on it's own. A sticker on your travel suitcase maybe for having traveled the World's...More

It saved us a walk, and price was equivalent to an American dollar, so worth it. There was no major city views but it was practical. It was a little hard to find though. Loved my short ride.

We arrived and paid for our tickets. We saw there were already 5 people in the tram car waiting, but they were all sweating profusely, including this 5 year old little boy. We weren't sure what was up but soon found out. The guy at...More

Strolling through the street I came across this funicular railway and it was very hard to resist. It just goes for less than 2 minutes probably but I had walked enough and it was good sit and enjoy the 2 minutes.

This is one of the smallest funiculars that I have ridden. The short ride provides a brief glimpse of the surrounding buildings. The best points about it are that it saves a steep climb, is inexpensive, and convenient.

Short and fun ride well worth it! Ticket office extremely chaotic, though! Big crowds pushing, and no order between lines for tickets and lines for funicular.

This has to be the shortest funicular anywhere! Our group rode it to get to the top of the hill, and had a fun time doing so!

It took 3 minutes by the funicular to the top to have a 360 degree view of the city. The ride is very reasonably priced
