This statue near the Stone Gate is ok. Did not find this monument very elevating. The horse and St George do not create any interesting atmosphere. Nothing to write about. The other similar statue of st George which we saw in Marshal Tito square was...More

I do not usually rate statues but as St. George ones go this a goody. The dragon is evoked very well. Almost feel sorry for the poor lizard.

Our walking tour guide explained to us the St. George slayed the Dragon. I often tell my dog to do that, but in a different context.........LOL. Nice statue anyway

The statue of St George after he has killed the dragon and shows him paying respect to the beast. The statue can easy be missed hidden near the Stone Gate.

St. George prays for the dead dragon that he beaten. That is quite solemn face and fet good to show his respect for the dragon. It is in front of stone gate.

It is a sculpture of what appears to be a tired horse and tired rider. I was told it was St. George after he has slain the dragon. It looks real.
