The roof is wonderful and you can walk around the church to see it from all sides. I tried on three separate occasions to gain entry to the church but was unable to. So I cannot comment on the interior.

This iconic little church is one of the most popular and endearing symbols of Zagreb! Everyone loves the roof with its decorative tile-design!

St. Mark's Square is situated at the old Upper Town (Gornji Grad), were you will find the Church of St. Mark with its colorful roof and to the right the Parliament. It’s nice to walk up from the main square.

It is not the church only because is very old with beautiful roof but the position as well. The church is actually separating or is in between Parliament on one and Goverment building on the opposite side. It is famous tourist destination.
