Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There is a bridge and there are 4 eagle statues on the corners of the bridge. It is impressive though. We were visiting Sofia and that came up on one of our maps so we went, we took pictures and continued on to the next site. There was a tremendous amount of traffic in this area. There was a Metro stop nearby, the Metro stop further up the street had a McDonalds and the visitor's center (the Metro stop, McDonald's and the VC were down some stairs.) The lady at the visitor center couldn't have been nicer. She gave ideas on what to see, told about attractions that were happening and where. Really worth a trip in and get a map or maps to help you out while there.
Sofia Overview:
I really enjoyed this city. It has become one of my favorites. I had read "parks are dangerous, don't go;" loved the parks. They were filled with families. You could hardly find a bench to sit on, everyone wanted to be out in the sun! I had read "people are mean;" people were great! Very friendly, and offered assistance when lost can't recall running into anyone mean or rude. The city is beautiful; seemly nestled in with mountains around giving a little bit of scenic beauty to all photos. It was really cheap to visit, most all attractions that we saw were free to get in. Only downside...really watch where you walk, some of the worst sidewalks I've seen. Very easy to trip or step in a small hole! : ) Really enjoyed myself there!

Its name comes from the bronze statues of eagles on the bridge, which are symbolic of his patrons and protectors. Eagle Bridge was built as a symbol of freedom as here are first met prisoners from Diyarbakir, speaking out against slavery.

This is the most polluted place in the city and one of the most polluted in all of Europe. The traffic is terrible at any time of the day.

There is nothing really here to see - drive by in a taxi and that is all the time you need. There is also a lot of traffic around this area.

This bridge is an anticlimax but immediately adjacent in the Prince's Garden is a wonderful Soviet monument and various statues and friezes. Visit both.

Very very crowded crossroad. Nothing special at all. Very close to metro station and park. Accesible on the road, or by feet.

I didn’t do any research and I thought of something else or bigger. It does look historic as a bridge to enter the center of the city

Although a rather none descript bridge that spans a very tame river namely the River Perlovska Eagle's Bridge ( Orlov Most ) does have a very impressive set of sculptures of eagles in flight that are amazing pieces of work.
The sculptures were added in honour of returning prisoners of war returning to the motherland from the Ottoman Empire.
Its only a small bridge, if your in the area it's worth checking out for the statues and easy to locate along Bulevard Tsarigradsko Shose.
