Careva dzamija is a mosque whose courtyard offices are currently used by grand mufti of Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a nice gem of Ottoman architecture, but seems to be rarely open for visitors

The Emperor's Mosque is an important landmark in the city as it is the first mosque to be built after the Ottoman conquest of Bosnia. The original mosque was built in the mid-fifteenth century but destroyed and rebuilt in 1565.
