I recommend visiting this street to get the feeling of Sarajevo as a combo of the old and the new, the meeting place of different nations, cultures and religions cohabitate in perfect unity.

As with most Sarajevo sites, you will pass all sorts of beautiful sites without even realizing. The stretch of road includes malls and historic monuments. Forgo the taxi and meander peacefully on foot.

it is almost impossible to reconcile the recent tragic past of the city with the elegant folks strolling this street and enjoying the multiple gelato places, restaurants and bars. and yet life must go on and an eternal flame helps us remember
