Although our guide told us the assassination took place just over the bridge, it is a good place to hear the details while gazing at the river. A definitely must do stop in Sarajevo.

Not the nicest bridge I have ever seen, but a historical place. This is where WWI started! On one side of the bridge, by the museum, you can see a sign showing where the assasinator of Franz Ferdinand stood while shooting.

If only this bridge could talk....a very old bridge that has cemented its place in history due to the nearby assasination of the Archduke Ferdinand.
