Worth the visit although they can't seem to decide whether they want to be the original gritty site or the modern interpretation. A good curator needed, but otherwise you can learn a lot about the war. Children can visit too, nothing too scary.

It was really worth going with a guide - a passionate woman who grew up during the 90's war - and her insights and bringing this heroic- tragic story to light were very moving indeed.

Must see in Bosnia. A memorial and standing example of extreme hardship and courageous defiance of innocent civilians who faced tough times during a long war!!

Yes, it was good to see the story about this place, read about the people the war affected. But the tour was so short that we were quite baffled by it. The tunnel itself will take you 20 seconds. And you even have to pay...More

while the actual part of the war tunnel is short, the movie and the sights around bring the tragic history of Sarajevo alive. Worth doing, but not for children

Great reminder for survivors. Hard working people made life easier for thousands of children, women, elder, wounded....They are real HEROES, those who worked hard on it, while under occupation and fire. This place is a must for Sarajevo visitors. Amazing spirit and History awaits you...More

Sarajevo War Tunnel or "Tunel" is a must see, and the Sarajevo War Tunnel clearly demonstrates the importance of research and history prior to a visit. We knew that Sarajevo is located in a valley, and clearly this man-made tunnel is not of the US...More

We visited the tunnel as part of a tour about the siege of Sarajevo. Hearing about the siege from someone who lived through the conflict and going through the tunnel were highlights of our visit to Sarajevo.
