Svrzo House is practically the single visitable old Bosnian house in Sarajevo - and that makes it even more valuable to visit. Some interior decoration of this type can also be seen in the Ethnography section of the National Museum, or in Brusa Bezistan, but...More

This place was a very nice surprise to find in Sarajevo. It was very informative from the many description plaques found throughout. Good displays of ancient Ottoman times. Highly recommended to visit.

Remarkably well preserved old property with its grounds. Some written information on each of the areas. Took us maybe 40mins to look around. Definitely worth a look.

This is an old house from when the Ottoman Empire ruled, refurbished and opened to the public in the 60`s. A beautiful house with cobbled courtyards and whitewashed walls. The rooms are all redecorated and furnished with period pieces, a must visit when in Sarajevo.

If you like ottoman culture, go there. It's a bit out of the way up the hill from the old town. I went there on National Museum day and admission was free and I was glad I went.
