Many shops are owned by same owners, you may see the same seller in different stores you visit.

This Bezistan is pretty much like a former sample of Bursa or Istanbul covered bazaars. You can find copper works as well as clothing as its name represents.

Bruza Besistan Museum is the museum about Sarajevo and his history. Here you can learn a lot about the different periods from the formation of the city until nowadays. If you are an history-lover, it is your museum, if not you can get bored a little. So, you choose. There are some mock-ups in the museum, which explain the different... More

The museum has so much to offer so many stories and people to present but in the end it just shows some exhebits and presents some history and that it is. I believe there must be more to this and more can be done. Maybe some focus would help rather than showing all from BC till now. Maybe some more... More

It's inside of the old town Sarajevo. Was not noticeable. Two stories museum, small size, but full of gems. It has a replica of old town Sarajevo from 19th century, along with artifacts showing life of a typical local people live back then, very educational and informative. Please budget 1 hour or a bit more.

Want the true experience of the former Yugoslav republic - look no further than this tired museum of nothingness, staff with one gruff doorkeeper who has little desire to help (and of course, no change).

Very informative museum. Tells the history of the city from the Stone Age times until Austro-Hungarian times. Very nice artifacts inside as well. If you're interested in the city, you should go.

one of the smallest museum in Sarajevo, so hidden that even 1/2 of their citizens do not know of its existence. Nicely settled in a heart of Old City, has 3 closed and 1 open main entrance which makes you think that this one is closed all the time, like major museum of the City, Zemaljski Muzej. So, enter from... More

That museum is located on the middle of Bascarsija, It looks Ottoman style more than Bosnian. But anyway that's part of Bosnian history. If you not gonna visit there, you will lost to many things.
