We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Most of Minsk was obliterated in WWII during the Nazi invasion of the USSR and these 2 towers were part of the rebuild. They are classic 1950s neoclassical Soviet architecture, similar to the Stalin Skyscrapers of Moscow. Placed directly opposite Minsk's railway station they were intended to act as a gateway in to the city. People actually live in the two towers - but your attention will be drawn to the statues on the top.

two symmetrical high towers in the style of Stalin classicism (Empire style). This style combines the elements of baroque, late classicism and art deco. All the buildings of the Stalin Empire style are distinguished by their grandeur, luxury and even pomposity.

These twin, 11-story high symmetrical buildings are just near the railway station overlooking Railway Station Square. They were built in Empire style, which contains elements of Late Classicism, Baroque and Art Deco. One of the towers contains a huge clock, presumably the largest in Belarus.

Our tour group did not stop to visit, we merely took photos from the bus as we passed by. I would not go out of my way to see them, but if in the neighborhood, take a photo and then move on.

Just a place to walk through. There are no activities except for nearest train station, mall and mc'donalds right across the street. Good place to take pictures daytime and in nighttime.

This location is very busy, with hundreds of people going about their days. The Minsk Gates are located right across from the new Train Station, which is very beautiful and reflects the city gates. I enjoyed taking pictures here last fall.

These buildings are twin tower blocks on the southern side of the city centre. They form a gateway, but there is no gate! They are very imposing and difficult to photograph as they are so tall.

Surprised it stays so low into ranking. My favourite spot of the city. Interesting in daytime, incredible at nighttime. A true symbol of the city!

Must take a picture with Minsk Gate if you are a first time visitor. It's iconic. Inside the gates are stores and shops (one of them is KFC). Both day and evening views are beautiful.

This is very neat to see. The Minsk City Gates are impressive, and an iconic part of your visit to this city.
